WELCOME TO 804 DANCE PLACE!
We're Tracey, Ilana & Sarah--the founders & management team behind 804--and we are so happy to have brought our dreams of owning a dance studio to life. With a combined 30+ years of dance teaching service between us, along with experience in education, arts and business administration, and performance, we each bring something unique to the ownership of 804 Dance Place. 804 started as a dream shared over coffee--now we can't wait to share the dream with you and welcome you in to our dance family!
With love,
Tracey, Ilana & Sarah

Tracey Clevenger
Tracey was born and raised in Springfield, Virginia where she started dancing at the age of five, and she has enjoyed having dance in her life ever since! Tracey attended Ferrum College where she earned her degree in Child Development and Psychology . As a founding member of the Ferrum College Dance Team, Tracey was able to dance for the school as well as for local events and charities throughout her college years. After graduating, Tracey taught kindergarten for a year at Springfield Academy, then relocated to the Richmond area where she worked as an assistant director at Kinder Care Learning Center. For the past eight years Tracey has been a loyal, dedicated sub for the Goddard School in Mechanicsville. When her daughters started dancing, Tracey found her way back in to the studio, and for the past twenty years she's taught creative movement, ballet and tap in Hanover. Tracey loves teaching the youngest of dancers and it is her personal goal to build a relationship with each tiny student and their family. Ms. Tracey is best known for hugs, kisses and lollipops at the end of class! Tracey would like to thank her family for always supporting and believing in her--she has been married to Sean (the ultimate dance dad!) for 26 years and is the mother of three wonderful girls (&804 Dance Place teachers); Camryn, Ashton and Hailey.
